iRacing Special Event from March 30 to April 5 2026

iRacing next week: what to watch from March 30 to April 5

After a very busy weekend with the iRacing Sebring 12HR, next week looks a bit lighter on headline special events, but there are still a few things worth keeping an eye on for regular racers and endurance fans. According to the official 2026 Special Events calendar, Sebring runs from March 27 to March 29, while the next major special event after that is the IMSA Classic 500 on April 10–11

So, if you are planning your next few days on iRacing, the week from March 30 to April 5 looks more like a transition week between one major event and the next. That does not mean there is nothing interesting happening, though. One of the key dates already visible on the official iRacing schedule is the start of the 2026 Nürburgring Endurance Championship, whose first round is listed for April 5–6 with a 4-hour format at the Nürburgring Combined – Gesamtstrecke VLN layout.

Another date to mark is March 31, when the refreshed 2026 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series schedule lists a race at Darlington Raceway. For oval fans, that is probably the clearest “appointment viewing” moment of the week, especially in a period without a top-level road special event on the public calendar.

For everyone else, this is also the kind of week that usually works well for three things: getting back into official series after a special event weekend, preparing teams and drivers for the next endurance round, and keeping an eye on the official iRacing channels for fresh race coverage and community broadcasts. iRacing’s own weekly tune-in post for March 25 to April 1 confirms that the platform is continuing its regular flow of esports and community programming across this period.

The key dates for next week

  • March 30: first full day after Sebring weekend
  • March 31: eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series at Darlington Raceway
  • April 5–6: Nürburgring Endurance Championship opener, 4 hours at Nürburgring Combined VLN
  • April 10–11: next official special event after this week, the IMSA Classic 500

Why this week still matters

Not every good iRacing week needs a huge special event. In fact, quieter weeks are often the best ones to reset, test setups, get seat time in official series, and prepare for what is coming next. With Sebring now behind us and the IMSA Classic 500 still more than a week away, the Nürburgring endurance opener is probably the most interesting item for sports car drivers looking ahead.
