A week dominated by DTM — both virtual and real — plus a massive racing game launch on the horizon. The biggest theme this week is accessibility. DTM Esports opens its doors to every RaceRoom driver. Forza Horizon 6 lands on Game Pass day one. And iRacing aligns its virtual DTM calendar with real-world race
The DTM’s sim racing championship is back — and this time, everyone can race. The DTM Esports Championship returns for 2026 with a completely reworked format. Gone is the invite-only structure. In its place: RaceRoom’s native Ranked Multiplayer system with public splits, meaning any driver can build their rating and qualify for the championship rounds.
The Horizon franchise heads to Japan on May 19 — and it’s bringing the biggest map in series history. Playground Games confirmed Forza Horizon 6 launches May 19, 2026 on Xbox Series X|S, PC (Windows and Steam), and Game Pass. Premium Edition buyers get early access starting May 15. A PlayStation 5 version follows later
