Assetto Corsa EVO 0.6: Lamborghini Countach, Ferrari 288 GTO, Sebring and More Coming Soon

The next major Early Access update for Assetto Corsa EVO is almost here, and it might be the most exciting one yet. Version 0.6 is shaping up to be a racing-oriented drop packed with iconic machinery and one of motorsport’s most legendary venues.

The Icon Has Arrived

Kunos Simulazioni has officially confirmed the Lamborghini Countach LP5000 Quattrovalvole for version 0.6 — and it’s not just another car on the list. The Countach is a cultural landmark that redefined what a supercar could look like and feel like. Its wedge silhouette, scissor doors and screaming naturally aspirated V12 make it one of the most visceral driving experiences in any sim, and AC EVO’s updated physics engine promises a more demanding and authentic recreation than anything we’ve seen in previous Assetto Corsa titles.

Ferrari Steps In — Twice

The update also brings two Prancing Horses to the garage. The Ferrari 288 GTO, the turbocharged mid-engine beast that started Ferrari’s legendary supercar bloodline leading to the F40, F50 and beyond, joins alongside the Ferrari 296 GT3, the brand’s current front-line endurance racer. Two very different machines, one unmistakable badge.

America Joins the Grid

Rounding out the GT3 roster is the Ford Mustang GT3, developed alongside Multimatic Motorsports. Its 5.3-litre Coyote V8 brings a raw, aggressive character that stands out immediately in a class that can sometimes feel homogeneous.

Sebring: Where Legends Are Made

The new circuit joining the roster is Sebring International Raceway — one of the oldest and most brutal tracks in endurance racing. Its bumpy surface, technical infield and iconic long straight make it the perfect stage for this racing-focused update.

Two More Cars Still to Be Revealed

Kunos has confirmed six cars total for 0.6, meaning two are still under wraps. Given the racing direction of this update, expect more surprises before the release drops.

Assetto Corsa EVO 0.6 has no confirmed release date yet, but with the Countach teaser already out, it won’t be long. Stay tuned.
