RaceRoom’s official Competitions work differently from a scheduled grid: instead of joining a race at a set time, you set your best time on a given car and track over a period of several days, and you are ranked against everyone else who enters. This page collects the active competitions with the car, the track and the closing date, so you can see what is worth a few laps before it ends.

How the Competitions work

Each competition opens for a window of several days and runs on a single car-and-track combination — a GT3 lap at one circuit, a touring car at another, a classic DTM machine somewhere else. You practise, then log your best clean lap, and the leaderboard settles when the window closes. Because there is no fixed start, the thing to watch is the closing date: a competition you meant to enter is gone once its window is over. It is a format that rewards consistency over one hot lap, since a single mistake late in the window can drop you down a leaderboard that has kept filling.

Free to enter, and varied

RaceRoom is free to play, and its official competitions are open to anyone — a low-friction way to measure yourself against a real field without committing to a full race night. The roster they draw on is one of the sim’s strengths: modern GT3, the WTCR and touring cars, the DTM across several eras, and single-make cups. The car and track needed for a competition are part of the entry, so it is worth checking what each one asks for before you start; some run on content you already own, others on cars you may want to add.
